John joined Geometric Wealth Advisors in 2025 after serving as Chief Investment Officer at Secfi, a wealth management firm specializing in serving tech professionals. Prior to that he was a Senior Investment Strategist at Dimensional Fund Advisors and a consultant at Bain & Company. John was drawn to Geometric by the opportunity to apply empirical research to real-world portfolios, especially for a clientele that he deeply understands. John leads Geometric’s Investment Committee.
John lives in Austin, Texas. During his free time he can usually be found outdoors, enjoying cycling, running, skateboarding, swimming, or walking his dog.
